Engineered to withstand the extreme pressure of the deep sea, this model is waterproof to an extraordinary depth of 11,000 meters. The cornerstone of this resilience is the patented Ringlock system, which utilizes a nitrogen-alloyed steel ring to absorb pressure against the 9.5 mm sapphire crystal. Additionally, the helium valve ensures that excess gas can safely escape during the decompression phase without compromising the case.
Commanding Presence and Calibre 3230
With a diameter of 50 mm, this is the largest commercial timepiece in the history of Rolex, ensuring maximum readability through the enduring blue luminescence of the Chromalight display. Powered by the manufacture calibre 3230, this giant is equipped with the Chronergy escapement and the blue Parachrom hairspring to deliver supreme precision and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
